This week was pretty good but I thought I'd take a quick second to say how much I love President Nelson and his messages, especially his message on our need to be a peacemaker. May we all show love and care to ourselves and neighbors during these continually troubled times. May we also pray for the victims in Michigan. Love you all! On that note, let's get into the week! I don't really remember Monday... Whoops! Tuesday was a pretty awesome day at the clinic and UVR. I got to have my usual lessons at UVR but also got to help someone look for jobs. It was more fun than usual though as she had a decent amount of qualifications, just almost no english. We found and applied to some jobs though so say a prayer about that one! Hey y'all! Today was kind of crazy, thus the late email, but I can't break my streak! I am now officially 3 months into my mission (technically tomorrow)! Kinda crazy but let's get into it! Monday did not start that great lol. I woke up and realized my alarm had not gone off or at least didn't wake me up and that I was already 10 minutes late to my service site. This wouldn't stress me out too much for most of my sites but I have english tutoring monday mornings and I know that the hours I have with my student are very very important to her and that she has to do a lot to get there so I was panicking. I got there as quickly as I possibly could and was informed that she did not show up. Lowkey such a miracle for me! Ive now slept in twice on my mission so far and both times things were completely chill at my site so I'm starting to wonder if God has me sleep in when he knows it's going to be fine cause I almost never sleep through my alarm. Hey y'all! It was kind of a crazy week as I imagine yall know. Let's get into it! Sunday I went to that baptism I mentioned last week. It was so amazing and spiritual and just wow. I also got to try some Peruvian foods which were very nice as they are just so good! I ran into the first hermana I met on the mission as well which was so amazing as she's actually going home tomorrow now so that's likely the last time ever. I was originally going to go teaching with her on wednesday but some crazy stuff happened. Still so good to see her one last time though! I also went out teaching for an hour or so with the hermanas after and we met a lovely man who believed in god but not organized religion. He was having some struggles though that the gospel could very much help with and we were able to set up a follow up appointment with him, which was crazy cause at first he didn't even seem to want to let us in. Hey yall! I was sick most of this week so I've only really got semi interesting stuff for Friday and Saturday but Friday was pretty great! Let's get into it! Monday was pretty chill! As it was labor day, all of my sites were canceled so I basically just vibed all day. Tuesday, I unfortunately woke up a bit sick so I had to cancel my sites for a few days. This is mostly due to me not wanting to get others sick but also to avoid a flare lol. The week thus turned into a few days of crochet, piano practice, and a lot of old disney movies. I also played an awesome game with my brother that's basically pandemic but lord of the rings so that was pretty sick! It was a pretty chill week but on Thursday, I was really wanting to do something and family haven was chill with me coming back since all I had was a little bit of a sniffle at that point.
